Daisuke Takahashi is a Japanese attorney, a Partner at Takahashi Nahmad Vazquez (TNV), as well as a Partner at SHINWA LAW (Shinwa Sohgoh Law Offices ) in Japan.
He supports Japanese companies in investing to emerging markets and assists Japanese companies in dealing with environment, labor, and human rights issues. He specializes in global legal compliance, including anti-corruption, anti-money laundering, sanctions regulation, and competition law. On the other hand, he is also effectively helping foreign clients, including corporations, individuals and governments, to solve various legal issues related to Japan with his deep understanding of Japanese laws in a global context.

Daisuke passed the National Bar Exam of Japan in 2003, graduated from Waseda University in 2004, completed his legal training at the Legal Training and Research Institute of the Supreme Court of Japan and joined the Shinwa Sohgoh Law Offices based in Tokyo in 2005.
He obtained triple master degrees in Law and Economics from University of Hamburg, Germany, University of Bologna, Italy, and University of Aix-Marseille, France, sponsored by European Commission in 2008-2009. He also acquired Master of Laws in International Law degree at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy in the U.S. in 2009-2010. He had a working experience at K&L Gates LLP, a global law firm based in the U.S. in 2010-2011. In 2011, he got married with a Mexican attorney, Raquel Nahmad Vazquez, and returned to the current law firm in Japan.
As expert on global legal compliance, corporate governance, and sustainability, Daisuke has been serving in various positions in the public, legal, academic, business and other sectors.
